Top 25 Oregon high school football rankings (9/4/25)

The 2025 high school football season in the Beaver State is officially underway! With the initial “Week 0” games in the books, we’ve got the first official High School on SI Oregon Top 25 rankings. While many teams are just kicking off their seasons, some have already made a statement.

The West Linn Lions  maintain their powerful hold on the top spot after a dominant 48-21 victory over Kamehameha from Hawaii. Despite being their first game of the season, the defending Class 6A Open champions looked sharp, with junior QB Sloan Baker throwing for 308 yards and four touchdowns. Their next test comes on September 12 at No. 11 Sherwood.

Meanwhile, a couple of teams made a strong initial impression. Churchill and Scappoose each enter the top 25 for the first time this season after impressive wins. Churchill was led by seniors Lukas Babbitt and TJ Wright, who had huge offensive performances. Scappoose relied on their junior QB Will Kessi and RB Elijah Greenan-Biggs to secure their victory.

Two teams, Marist Catholic and Clackamas, have fallen out of the rankings after suffering losses in their openers. How they bounce back in the coming weeks will be crucial.

Here is the complete breakdown of the Oregon high school football top 25 rankings for the week of September 4, 2025, including each team’s record, preseason ranking, last week’s result, and their upcoming opponent.
