1. Brownsburg Bulldogs (6-0)
The Bulldogs earned their continued hold on the No. 1 spot, but it wasn’t easy. They narrowly escaped an upset last week in a gritty 14-10 victory over No. 4 Westfield. Every win this season has reinforced their status as a viable national contender, thanks to stellar play on both sides of the ball. Senior quarterback Oscar Fyre has been lighting up the scoreboards, racking up 1,156 yards and 17 touchdowns this fall. His favorite target, junior wide receiver Branden Sharpe, is also having a massive year with 506 yards and seven touchdowns. Brownsburg hosts Zionsville (3-3) this week and will look to maintain their perfect run.
2. Center Grove Trojans (6-0)
Right on Brownsburg’s heels are the reigning powerhouse, the Center Grove Trojans (6-0). Loaded with talent, Center Grove features a slew of Division I prospects, including Wake Forest-bound tight end Dominick Barry and Purdue commit defensive stalwart Kobe Cherry. The offense is a balanced attack, with quarterback Oscar Sloan throwing for 740 yards and seven TDs, and running back Nolan Rees powering the ground game with 367 yards and six touchdowns. Center Grove faces a huge test at home this week against a tough No. 10 Cathedral (4-2) squad.
3. Carmel Greyhounds (5-1)
After suffering their only loss a few weeks ago to Kentucky’s top team, the Carmel Greyhounds have returned with a vengeance. They’ve demolished their last two opponents—Columbus North and North Central—by a combined score of 119-21. The Greyhounds are leaning heavily on their dominant ground attack, led by running backs Andrew Pemberton (478 yards) and Ayden Johnson (244 yards), while Troy-bound Anthony Coellner provides explosive all-purpose play with 1,463 yards and 20 total touchdowns. Carmel aims for their third straight win against a struggling Ben Davis (1-5) team this Friday.
4. Westfield Shamrocks (4-2)
The Westfield Shamrocks proved their strength last week by taking Brownsburg to the limit in a 14-10 loss. Though they came up short, they established themselves as a team that can compete with anyone. Their success often starts up front, where an imposing offensive line features Division I recruits Malachi Mills (Kansas commit) and Job Maverick (Ohio commit), who have paved the way for well over 2,000 yards of offense. Westfield has another huge test this week as they look to bounce back against No. 11 Avon (3-3).
5. New Palestine Dragons (6-0)
The New Palestine Dragons quietly cruise into the Top 5 after a convincing 49-0 shutout of Greenfield-Central. Senior quarterback Jacob Davis is executing one of the most efficient offenses in the state, completing an impressive 71 percent of his passes for 904 yards, 12 touchdowns, and only one interception. Running back Caden Jacobia adds serious punch with 585 yards and six scores on just 45 carries. The Dragons are favored to improve to 7-0 this week against Shelbyville (3-3).
