Here are a plethora of changes to the weekly Trib HSSN state baseball rankings with the district playoffs in the books and the state postseason starting Monday.
Eleven teams dropped out from a week ago as losses in the district semifinals and championship game cost them a spot in the Top 5.
Every year, teams that did not win district gold go on to capture a state title.
However, this particular poll is a salute to teams that did taste a championship in one of the state’s 12 districts.
Three top-ranked teams from a week ago — LaSalle College in 6A, Cathedral Prep in 4A and Faith Christian in A — remain at No. 1 heading into the PIAA postseason.
