Flower Mound and Tomball were the top two Texas Class 6A teams in the Preseason rwcupdates Top 25 high school baseball rankings. This weekend the Jaguars and Cougars could meet for the state championship.
Tomball, ranked No. 25 to start the season, stays at No. 3 this week after sweeping Bridgeland (Cypress) and upping its win streak to 27 games. The Cougars meet Johnson (San Antonio) in the state semifinals.
